My Story

I founded MVW Woodworking with a simple philosophy: build it right, build it local, and build it to last. From my modest North Central Pennsylvania woodshop, I design and craft each piece using Pennsylvania grown hardwoods. I blend Modern Farmhouse and Mid Century Modern influence with practical durability, often incorporating custom metal inlay for added detail and character.

Over time, my work has naturally extended beyond the shop and into the homes of people in my community. Neighbors often reach out for repairs or small improvements, and I approach those projects the same way I do my furniture, with care, intention and attention to detail. It’s never been about offering a service, it’s simply an extension of what I love to do, working with my hands.
